Mafi and colleagues (1) aim to compare the use of potentially low-value health care services among advanced practice clinicians (APCs) and physicians in the management of common conditions in the primary care setting. They found that APCs and physicians provide an equal amount of these services, dispelling physicians' perceptions that APCs provide lower-value care than physicians for such conditions (2).
